Darcy Richter is the owner/instructor of Quick Stix.

He grew up in Canada and began playing both hockey and box lacrosse at the age of 7. His love for lacrosse earned him "Most Valuable Forward" and "Most Valuable Player" while playing youth lacrosse in Windsor Ontario.

Stick skills was his passion, practicing every day against the wall.

His team won the provincial championship and by the time he turned 16 he earned a position on one of the premier Junior A teams in Ontario, the Elora Mohawks.

During his college years he made the move to field lacrosse and joined the Toronto Beaches.

Darcy and his family moved to the Dallas area in 1997. He has coached both hockey and lacrosse ever since from the bantam level right up to varsity. He takes great pride in helping young boys excel in their sport and although coaching club teams has been a great experience, his true passion is teaching kids the 'nuts and bolts', the mechanics, and stick skills necessary to reach exemplary levels in lacrosse. As a result, Quick Stix was created. It is geared to that very goal - teaching youth how to move the ball quickly, more accurately, and in confined spaces while improving overall stick skills and confidence when out on the field.
