Mission

Stafford Lacrosse Club is an organization founded by volunteers dedicated to the promotion of Lacrosse. Our mission is to provide a quality Lacrosse program for boys and girls ages 5-18. Players of all skill levels will have the opportunity to improve their skills and work together as part of a team in an atmosphere that is based on mutual respect and good sportsmanship. All members of Stafford Youth Lacrosse are expected to treat all other players, coaches, managers, and officials with respect and to exhibit good sportsmanship and fair play at all times.

Programs

		Lightning: The primary objective of the Lightning program is to enable players to learn the game of lacrosse in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing basic skills like, catching, throwing, scooping and shooting. This is for Kindergarten - Second Grade.
		Bantam: The Bantam program builds on the lightening program and adds field positioning and advanced rules of lacrosse.Bantams will have games against other towns who are part of the CT Valley Youth Lacrosse Association (CVYL). This is for Second Grade - Fourth Grade.
		Junior: The Juniors are a part of CVYL and will have play off games based on season play.Junior will work on all aspects of lacrosse. This is for Fifth Grade - Sixth Grade.
		Seniors: The Seniors are also part of CVYL and will have play off games based on season play.Senior will work on all aspects of lacrosse. This is for Seventh Grade - Eighth Grade.
		High School: Currently Stafford does not have a High School Varsity Lacrosse program.Here we provide high school age kids the opportunity to continue playing lacrosse.The high school team has scrimmages with other high school teams. This is for Ninth Grade - Twelfth Grade
