Tee-Ball (Ages 4-5) - Contact the Tee-Ball Commissioner
Children hit the ball off of a batting tee. They learn the rules of the game, and basic motors skills. They also learn the basics of participating in a team sport. The focus is fun.
AA/Machine-Pitch (Ages 6-7) - Contact the AA Commissioner
Players hit the ball from a pitching machine. Emphasis is placed upon proper throwing and hitting mechanics, as well as defense/fielding. Conditioning is introduced. The focus is skill development.
AAA (Ages 8-10) - Contact the AAA Commissioner
Player-pitch. Players learn 4-seam grip and proper throwing motion. Hand-eye coordination and fielding fundamentals are gained through repetition. Contact hitting is established. Conditioning is elevated. The focus is muscle-memory and comradery through competition.
Majors (Ages 11-12) - Contact the Majors Commissioner
Pitchers learn variations of 3 basic pitches. Arm strength, command and control are introduced. Bat speed is developed. Conditioning is a staple. Introduction to advanced baseball topics. The focus is mental toughness.
Prep - Intermediate & Juniors (Ages 13-14) - Contact the Prep Commissioner
Situational studies and experience are the cornerstones. Conditioning and advanced baseball topics are continued. Running, fielding, throwing, hitting and hitting for power is cultivated. The focus is the 5 tools and baseball IQ.
Softball (Girls Ages 9-14) - Contact the Softball Commissioner
Fast-pitch. Softball fundamentals are taught.
