About Liberty Youth Baseball

Liberty Youth Baseball is a volunteer-based organization, and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation to our program please contact a board member for more information.

We provide a positive baseball experience for youths from K to 8th grade.  Our league is a member of Junior Baseball of Oregon (JBO) Inc.  We play by amended High School Baseball rules and bat the roster.  We are a volunteer-based organization run by a governing board.  It is our goal to mechanically prepare, instill the love of the game, and build lasting character in the next generation of highly-competitive baseball players for Liberty High School

Liberty Youth Baseball offers two levels of play (recreational and competitive). Recreational play consists of T-ball/Coach pitch teams and Rookies. In general, this level of play is for K-2nd graders.

The competitive program is played through the State of Oregon JBO program. The competitive program is generally for 3rd through 8th graders, but some 1st and 2nd grade players may also make the competitive teams and are welcome to come to tryouts.

Within the JBO program, there are three levels (Midget, Junior and Senior). League standings are kept and teams play to qualify for state tournament playoffs held at the end of the regular season.
