A Message from Our Commissioner

Aloha AYSO Ohana,
Welcome to the wonderful world of AYSO youth soccer. The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is a 52 year old all-volunteer organization that can still be trusted, with your assistance, to share in our community one of the world’s favorite sports, in a Fun, Fair, and Safe environment. We do this through a dedicated network of trained volunteers who give of themselves and their time to benefit the kids in our community. Consider volunteering, what a better way to cement yourself as your child/ children's hero! No worries! No soccer knowledge or experience necessary, just a willingness to learn! Tell us what your talent's are and we will find a job that suits you! We always need Coaches and Referee's however we can always use extra Administrators, Division, and Event Coordinators. Jump on board! Our meetings are always the first Tuesday of each month, 7pm at the Honokowai Kauhale Community Room.
Our main goal is to develop and provide a positive experience for our players. We train our coaches and referees to be the guiding force behind this effort. Most trainings can be done on the internet at your convenience. Go explore AYSO volunteer options here www.ayso.org
Most importantly we need you, the parent(s), to be the supportive base for your child. We need you to be the positive, dedicated and encouraging force behind AYSO's efforts in making their soccer experience fun, fair and safe.

AYSO's Mission Statement

American Youth Soccer Organization’s mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on the six AYSO philosophies:

Everyone Plays

Our goal is for kids to play soccer, so we mandate that every player must play at least half of every game.

Balanced Teams

Teams are formed as evenly balanced as possible, because it is more fun when teams of equal ability play.

Positive Coaching

We train and expect our coaches to make the extra effort to offer positive instruction to our players.

Open Registration

Our programs are open to all children between 4 1/2 and 18 years who want to register and play soccer.

Good Sportsmanship 

We create a positive environment based on mutual respect. Our programs are designed to instill good sportsmanship.

Player Development

We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.
