EVOLUTION Basketball is about teaching, instilling and developing the habits that allow all our student-athletes to grow as people, students, teammates and basketball players; it's about great people providing quality instruction, motivation, mentoring, feedback and a supportive environment that affords all who participate the opportunity to reach their individual best in sport and in life!

Our mantra, philosophy, message... it's what we have built here since our inception over 8 years ago. We expect this philosophy to carry on and off the court, and the relationships it stands for means more to us than anything. If you are committed, and loyal to Us, we will return it to you and yours 100%. We demand that our players play for each other, as one teammates success means TEAM success, same as in failure... but at the end of the day, we learn and improve, TOGETHER.

The Process

If you've spoken to any of Our Coaches or parents who have been with the program for prior seasons, you've probably heard us reference "the process"... It's a broad term, we know, but we feel understanding it and preaching it makes the AAU experience entirely more beneficial for family, player and organization. Our coaches put a lot into each individual player, because ALL players can develop, learn and improve, no matter age or skill level, its why it's an incredible game. Player, Parent and Organization must understand and be on the same page about the long-term goals and expectations WE have.  All players and skill levels are different, as are individual goals and expectations, but you can be sure that we have the absolute best interest for each individual player and will challenge them to reach their potential and beyond. The key to taking advantage of the long term process is to stay dedicated to the long-term, the longer we can work with you, the easier it comes to reach our goals.

Competing vs Wins & Losses

"COMPETE"... you'll hear us yell it, a lot.  Did you compete as hard as possible, every possession? Did you learn, or improve some piece of your game every practice, every game? Are you committed to doing what it takes to reach your long-term goals? These are the questions that we ask our players, and expect to be asked by parents when it comes to EVOLUTION Basketball. "Winning is a bonus", another one you may hear, but it's not patter, it's the truth. If you want a program that shows up to "win at all costs" this is not the place for you. Again, we want our players to COMPETE at the highest level, play with class, sportsmanship, and to improve, every day.  The quicker we can all come to an understanding on this the better. Certainly, some of our teams enter "BIG" tournaments, regional championships, and do travel to Nationals when qualified, and we compete and coach to put our players in the best position to win, but still, at the end of the day the EXPERIENCE and the PROCESS, mean far more to us as an organization than wins and losses.
