BALTIMORE WOLVES
‘CREATING AN IDENTITY AND A CULTURE’
The culture and identity surrounding any successful soccer club, or organization, is created long before a team takes the field.
A foundation is built upon the principles of strong family values, comunity, selflessness, a tireless work ethic, sacrifice, respect and responsibility.
When a soccer player graduates from our program they will go forth with the
skill set to be valuable citizens, compassionate team oriented co-workers and loyal family members. In the meantime, they will leave with invaluable memories they had of playing the game they love. Our success is not measured in wins and losses, but the number of players and patrons who return to our home as adult fans, adult soccer players and youth coaches.
How this is achieved:
We will first instill a sense of community, this is the most important part of any successful soccer club, the players should feel comfortable in there environment at all times, comfort in mind equals comfort in action.
We will also have qualified youth coaches at all times involved in all age groups.
A knowledge of the game is not enough to mold our sport’s future, we will have credible coaches that have coached at high levels and/ or earned at least an E level US Soccer license.
As coaches, our job is not just to improve soccer skills, but to challenge them in ways to build character and social value, encourage creativity and boost motivation.
We will challenge individuals and build confidence on and off the field, while keeping our program age appropriate.
FACT: All great organizations and teams take on the personality of their leaders and coaches respectively. You perform in game situations how you prepare in practice.
We do not believe practice makes perfect, we believe practice makes permanent.
Teamwork is our top priority, our sense of community will pay off in dividends, and our credible coaches will motivate in a way that will challenge our youth players to perform with confidence.
