Governor Approves Plan to Start Baseball

We are excited to announce that our state and local governments have approved the start of our season!

Baseball:
Practices will begin next week - exact days and times will depend on your child's team.  Coaches will be contacting families within that next several days regarding team practices and general information.  Please note that although we have sent out emails requesting player availability, we still need to confirm.  Therefore, teams may change and expected coaches may no longer be available.  We will be working with each team during the next week to ensure we have enough players for that team and a designated coach.

Games will begin on June 27th.  We are working on the game schedule and planning for the same amount of games as a typical spring season (12 to 14 games for our older divisions).  The season will continue through the beginning of August.  We anticipate fewer, if any, cancellations during the season due to the more favorable summer weather.  There will be an increase in the amount of weekday games than our usual season, in addition to games every Saturday.  We will take a break for the July 4th holiday weekend and will plan to complete the season in early August.  Games will be played in the local Monument area.  Older divisions will also play at the Larkspur Community Park Ball Field.

Softball:
Practices will still begin in early to mid-July.  Coaches will be contacting families in the next few weeks regarding team practices and uniforms.  Games will begin at the end of July.  We expect to play during the week and on Saturdays, as well.  We will interleague with teams from Colorado Springs Little League, so game locations will vary.

If you have been waiting to register for this season, click on "Register" in the top right corner.  Teams will be adjusted and/or formed to accommodate new players.

We are developing social distancing guidelines to be followed, as directed by Governor Polis.  We must all work together to follow these guidelines as we are granted permission to use fields based upon our commitment to maintain the proper safety precautions preventing the spread of COVID-19.  Further details regarding safety precautions and social distancing guidelines will be forthcoming.

It has been a strange few months.  Unprecedented.  We have done our best to provide a season of baseball/softball and although it has been a challenge, we are excited that we will be able to play.  We appreciate your patience, understanding and support during this time.  We look forward to seeing each of you this summer!  Let's PLAY BALL!
