The Wyckoff Torpedoes Soccer Club (TSC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1974, and since then, has grown to be one of the most elite town programs in New Jersey. TSC's mission is to promote the love of soccer for young athletes and instill the importance that sportsmanship and teamwork plays in an athlete's life. TSC's program provides a three season outlet for youth players that starts with a Pre-K Clinic and continues into their High School years. With approximately 50 boys and girls teams competing in both EDP & Northern Counties leagues, each age division looks to provide an outlet for players at varying skill levels, allowing mobility in their age group as they grow and develop as young athletes. TSC boasts countless league, state, and regional champions. With state of the art turf facilities and its own indoor facility, as well as a full-time professional coaching director and experienced training staff, TSC provides young athletes the tools for success both on and off the field. TSC players regularly go on to collegiate careers at the Division I, II, and III level, and develop a lifelong love of soccer.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Torpedoes Soccer Club, founded in 1974, is three-fold:
to promote participation in the sport of soccer through organization, operation and maintenance of a competitive youth soccer program based in the Township of Wyckoff, while providing an environment that encourages learning and enjoyment;
to promote and instill good sportsmanship and fellowship among all players, coaches and parents through principles of honesty, discipline and fair play;
to educate players, parents and the general public with respect to the game of soccer and the value of the sport to them.
The Torpedoes Soccer Club teams currently participates in the Northern Counties Soccer Association (NCSA) or the Eastern Development Program (EDP), depending on the team. Each age group has leveled teams, and players try out annually and are placed on the appropriate team at their age group. Each team is then placed in a league based on the abilities of its players.
Teams are comprised of boys or girls ages 6 to 19, based on calendar years. Division 3 and younger (under 14) Torpedoes play fall/winter/ spring and all High School Torpedoes teams, play winter/spring.
Teams also participate in various tournaments throughout the year, including indoor events during the winter.
