In an effort to expand our commitment to serving the youth in our community, Lyme/Old Lyme Little League will be offering travel programs for both baseball and softball. These programs are independent of the Little League program, and the overall goal is to develop players and grow the game here in Lyme/Old Lyme. The travel program will work in partnership with Lyme/Old Lyme Little League. All players that participate in the travel program are also required to play in the spring Lyme/Old Lyme Little League season.
Our Mission: Our primary goal is to offer increased opportunity to play baseball and softball while focusing on player development. Wins and loses do not matter, it is about the individual growth each player makes while participating in the program.
Cost - TBD - cost will vary based on final team size, game/tournament schedule, indoor training.
What cost covers: Hat, Jersey, Warmup Shirt, Hooded Sweatshirt, Insurance/Membership Fees, Tournament/League/Game Fees, Equipment and other miscellaneous items.
Winter Workouts cost: TBD - Options will be: Team/League discounted 4 month membership or year membership. Memberships can be customized for just Baseball/Softball or add on any other facility options (i.e. full facility, basketball, volleyball, gym, etc).

OLTBS offers developmental baseball for 9u-12u. For the 2024 Fall season we will be looking to field both 9-10u and 11-12u teams. Additional age groups and teams may be added based on the number of participants. Travel is more competitive than LOLLL Spring season, so participation may be determined by the player’s skill level and experience.
Teams will follow AAU rules and guidelines.
The 2024 Fall season will run approximately from the end of August to the end of October. Although the game schedule is still to be determined, the majority of the games will be on Sundays in order to allow participants to play other sports. Currently, we are looking at the following possibilities for scheduling – a War at the Shore Tournament, scheduling games with other travel programs, or playing in the East Shore Travel League.
