2024 Summer Pre-season Soccer Program
College Pre-season Camp is designed for the elite soccer player who wants to be ready for the next level of training and play.
Whether you are a current college player home for the summer or you are preparing for your first college pre-season, preparation is the biggest insurance against injuries and frustrating college seasons. Our 6 week program develops players to be fit, sharp, and mentally prepared for a successful college or club season ahead. The program will be led by our Directors at Team Chicago Soccer Club. Each training session will cover both a fitness component (warm-up, injury prevention, fitness, agility, speed & speed-endurance training) and a technical & tactical component.
The primary reason for early-season injuries is the high intensity of the short college pre-season, with 2-a-day or even 3-a-day sessions, combined with players not being fully fit and sharp heading into the pre-season. It is impossible to get fully fit in a 2-week period without pushing your body beyond what is reasonable. This program will gradually build up the intensity of the sessions over the full 6 weeks thus significantly reducing the risk of injury due to overuse.
