In 2022, WPTP made the decision to join the National Pop Warner Little Scholars Program. This decision elevated the opportunities available to our young athletes. 

For the 2022 Season we fielded 8U, 10U & 12U tackle football teams, as well as 3 cheerleading squads. In addition we offered flag football for those 6 or under and an additional cheerleading squad for ages 3-5. Our 12U football team advanced to post-season play. We look forward to expanding programming in the 2023 Season where we will be offering 6U & 14U tackle programs as well. 

Our 3 oldest cheerleading squads participated in our Divisional Pop Warner competition and all 3 qualified for the New England Pop Warner Regional Competition taking home 2 1st Place trophies and a 2nd Place trophy. All 4 squads also participated in an additional competition and took home 2 more 2nd Place trophies! All 3 of our older squads put on excellent showings at Regionals, with our oldest (Jr Pee Wee) squad coming up less than 2 points from qualifying for Nationals in Orlando! We have high hopes for the 2023 season. 

We ended our year with a wonderful awards banquet in December, where we we recognized our "Coach of the Year" as 10U Coach Matt Mooney.
