Junior Academy (Ages 6-7)

Program Details

Crossroads' Total Soccer Academy focuses on long-term player development. With two different programs for players ages 6-11, the Academy: shifts the focus from result-oriented team success to individual progress & development; includes a higher practice to game ratio than CSA’s recreational program; provides a more structured training environment with experienced, licensed coaches; and tends to produce players with the technical skills necessary for long-term fun (and success) in soccer. Academy players are looking for a little higher level than recreational soccer and generally use the Academy as a stepping-stone to progress to our most advanced program, Classic Soccer with Cajun Rush Alexandria.

Program:	Junior Academy
Ages:	6-7/8
Playing Experience:	Prior rec experience recommended
Practices:	2x per week with licensed, experienced coaches

Season Duration:	18 weeks - 9 in Fall & 9 in Spring (13% more than 2019/20); Fall-Only & Spring-Only registration possible.
First Practice:	Sept. 1
Registration:	July 1 - Aug. 31
Early Bird Registration:	July 1 - July 31 (Save $10; may elect to return to last year's team)
Registration Deadline:	Sept. 8 ($10 late fee after Sept. 1)
