Registration for the 2024 Cheer season is set by grade level:
Kindergarten – 2nd grade:  $300*
3rd – 5th Grade:  $420* 
6th – 8th Grade:  $450*

Payment plans are available. If the payment plan in the registration will not work for your family, please email Samantha Evans at [email protected] for assistance.  

Registration for all levels include the following:  Facilities, a family showcase event, uniform rental and additional game-day apparel/accessories that each athlete will keep at the end of the season (Pink-Out game-day T-shirt & socks, game-day bows, sweatshirt, and sweatpants).  

NOTE:  Uniform rental requires a postdated check as a uniform deposit. This is only to ensure we receive our uniforms back. Once you turn in your uniform at one of our scheduled hand-ins, we hand you back your uncashed check.  Details will be provided prior to uniform fitting days.

Each family is required to provide a current sports physical prior to first day of practice.  A Current physical must be on file at all times.

PRACTICE DETAILS:
Unless otherwise communicated, all practices are held at Grande Park, 26933 W. Grande Park Blvd, Plainfield IL 60585.  Practice days and times vary by grade level:

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade:  Tuesdays and Thursdays only
7/30-8/29:  6:00-7:00 p.m.
Starting 9/3:  5:30-6:30 p.m

3rd Grade – 8th Grade:
7/29-8/8:  Monday – Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Starting 8/13:  Tuesday – Thursday,  5:30-7:30 p.m.
Times will adjust in September and as season progresses into competition season.

Please note attendance at all practices and games is mandatory barring special circumstances. Any absences should be communicated to your cheerleader's coach prior to the absence. Missing practices can result in change of position on squad.


PLEASE REVIEW THE SECTIONS BELOW FOR SPECIFICS REGARDING YOUR GRADE LEVEL.


KINDERGARTEN – 2nd GRADE 
The cheer season for Kindergarten – 2nd grade runs end of July-October.  It is important to note that some games will be away games and the cheerleaders will be asked to travel to support the football teams.

Squads will cheer for the following football levels:
Kindergarten & 1st Grade = Flag Football
2nd Grade = 8U Tackle Football (unless there are 3 flag football teams)

Parents will be responsible for purchasing white cheer shoes and navy briefs.



3rd GRADE – 5th GRADE 
The cheer season for grades 3-5 runs July-November.  It is important to note that some games will be away games and the cheerleaders will be asked to travel to support the football teams.

Squads will cheer for the following football levels:
3rd Grade = 8U tackle football
4th Grade = 9U tackle football
5th Grade = 10U tackle football

Parents are responsible for providing white cheer shoes.

Registration for grades 3-5 include participation in 1 competition hosted by Illinois Cheerleading Association (ICA)).  Any team accepting a bid to ICA State will continue with a limited practice schedule in October-November.   Please read critical State Championship details near the bottom of this page.


6th GRADE – 8th GRADE 
The cheer season for grades 6-8 runs July-November.  It is important to note that some games will be away games and the cheerleaders will be asked to travel to support the football teams.

Squads will cheer for the following football levels:
6th Grade = 11U tackle football
7th Grade = JV tackle football
8th Grade = Varsity tackle football

Parents are responsible for providing white cheer shoes.

Registration for grades 6-8 includes participation in 2 competitions hosted by Illinois Cheerleading Association (ICA)).  Any team accepting a bid to ICA State will continue with a limited practice schedule in October-November.   Please read critical State Championship details near the bottom of this page.


STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Any team competing can earn a bid to the State Championship.  Any team accepting a bid will continue practice at an adjusted schedule up until the championship event.  Parents will be responsible for the state championship entry fee should any team/participant (historically this has been $165/athlete).

ICA State is held at Northern Illinois University over a 4-day period from Thursday– Sunday.  Final dates for the 2024 State Championship will not be available until late February.  We will update this page at that time.
3-5* Grade typically performs Thursday and Saturday
6-8 Grade performs Friday and Sunday

*5th grade teams may be moved to Friday/Sunday timing if scheduling dictates the need.  This will be communicated by ICA if they need to make this decision.  

Please note that Thursday and Friday performances may be during the day, requiring adjustment to student’s school schedule. Exact schedule is not known until the week of the event.
