Coaching ExperienceCurrent: Sterling is the Director of Soccer Operations for Lipscomb University Women's soccer program. He is also involved as a youth coach at Tennessee Soccer Club based in Franklin, TN.
Youth: Sterling is former Director for Southern Soccer Academy in both Atlanta and Nashville. He was the Senior Recreational Director, Player Development Academy Director and the Super Y Director for SSA. For 8 years, Sterling was the Executive Director for Harpeth Youth Soccer Association in the Bellevue area as well as the Director of Coaching for the select soccer program, Harpeth FC. Sterling has coached teams in many age groups through the years, from mini-kickers as young as 3 to high school age teams pursuing college scholarships. Before joining the staff at Harpeth, Sterling coached club teams in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. His Brentwood Soccer Club girls’ team, Real Madrid, won the state championship in 2004.Sterling has also coached high school and middle school soccer. For the Fall 2013 season, he coached the middle school girls at Franklin Road Academy in Nashville.
