The recreation soccer program is designed to teach our youth the fundamentals of soccer, teamwork and sportsmanship. The recreation program is a fall program that begins in mid-August and runs through the end of October. There are 4 different age groups:
Under 6 - designed to teach the basics. Both boys and girls are together and the sessions are on Saturday morning for an hour and a half.
Under 8 - designed to teach more ball control and begin to learn the basics of the game.
Under 11 - designed to teach more complex ball movement and more details of the game. Referees are used beginning at this level.
Under 14 - designed to continue and develop ball control, ball movement and understand the overall field for soccer. Referees are used at this level.
The Under 6 age group will practice/play at Riverfront School
The Under 8 age group will practice/play at Riverfront School
The Under 11 age group will practice/play at Vets, Marter 2 and Marter 3.
The Under 14 age group will practice/play at Vets, Marter 2 and Marter 3.
