Clinics Beginning at Cooper Mountain Elementary!

Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist, Darrin Halley, will be coaching a 6-week clinic that focuses on Speed, Agility, and Quickness Training for athletes and non-athletes alike.  We are excited to be able to offer this great clinic to students at Cooper Mountain Elementary School for the first time!  

Athletic Training is beneficial for enhancing sports performance in athletes of all sports, as well as for improving coordination and efficiency of movement. Specialized Speed, Agility, and Quickness drills train the body to move with precision in all planes of motion with the maximum force and velocity.

     Using ladders, hurdles, cones, medicine balls and parachutes,  we will perform drills and relays designed to increase flexibility, strength, and core stability while concentrating on executing proper form.  This aids in injury prevention while improving power and conditioning.

Clinics will begin April 22 for Grades K-2, and will run 6 Tuesdays, ending on 5/27.
Clinics will begin April 24 for Grades 3-5, and will run 6 Thursdays, ending on 5/29.

All Clinics are offered immediately after school for parents' convenience and run for one hour .
