Coach Pitch Schedule Coming June

Coach Pitch is a non-competitive league during June. The purpose of this league is to introduce our young players the basic fundamentals of baseball.

Ages 4-6

Rookie League Schedule Coming March

Rookie League is a non-competitive league during regular season, then a friendly competition during tournaments. The purpose of this league is to introduce our young players the basic fundamentals of experiencing a ball being pitched with the use of a pitching machine that is controlled by the coach (no live pitcher). Within weeks, coaches see a dramatic change in how these players play. The goal for coaches at this level is to mold players to be ready for live pitching when they start in the Minor League.

Ages 7-8

Machine Pitch. No Live Pitcher

Season: March to May

Practices are located at Legacy Park

Games are played at Legacy Park and Glenns Ferry

Expect 10-12 games with end of season tournament.

Minor League is a competitive league with live pitching with basic youth baseball rules. The purpose of this league is to introduce our young players to pitching, stealing, and making plays. The goal for coaches at this level is to mold players to be competitive and be ready for the fast pace of the Major League. Player will also be selected as All Stars by the coaching staff to represent the county during tournament season.

Ages 9-10

Tryouts Begin in Early March

Regular Season: March to May
All-Star Season: June to July

Practices are located at the Minor Field and 18th Street Field

Games are played at Minor Field and Glenns Ferry

All-Star Season begins after tournament

Major League is a competitive league with live pitching with basic youth baseball rules. The purpose of this league is to introduce our young players to pitching, stealing, and making plays on a larger field. The goal for coaches at this level is to mold players to be competitive and be ready for the fast pace of the Babe Ruth League Player will also be selected as All Stars by the coaching staff to represent the county during tournament season.

Ages 11-12

* All Ages
Start 1 May

Babe League is a competitive league with live pitching. The purpose of this league is to introduce our young players to pitching, stealing, and making plays on a standard baseball field. The goal for coaches at this level is to mold players to be competitive and be ready for the fast pace of high school. Player will also be selected as All Stars by the coaching staff to represent the county during tournament season.

Ages 13-15

Season: End of March to End of May

Practices are located at the Babe Ruth/JV Baseball Field

Expect 14-18 games at various locations including Boise area on Saturdays.

Fall Ball Schedule Coming August

Fall ball is as a developmental league for young players to improve their skills and get ready for the next level of baseball. The focus is to prepare for the next level of baseball: learning the new rules, getting used to the bigger field dimensions, and developing the skills necessary to play at a competent level with their peers. Fall ball is still competitive but without a championship.

Ages 8-14

Season: End of August to Middle of October

Practices are located at fields based on league

Expect 14-16 games at various locations including
Boise area on Saturdays.
