Coach Renee grew up in Glen Burnie, MD, played competitive travel ball and was a 3 year varsity softball starter at North County High School (NCHS). After graduating from NCHS she was fortunate enough to go on to play softball in College on a full scholarship to NAIA D2 Tusculum College. At Tusculum, she held many pitching records, some of which still stand today.

After completing her playing career at Tusculum, she became a Student Assistant Coach and after the birth of her children began coaching at the recreational level (LF & North Glen), then moved on to travel and has since coached at every level including NCAA Division I, where she was the pitching coach for Morgan State University, and the Head Women's Softball Coach of Anne Arundel Community College where she led the Pioneers to 2 Region/Division Championships and 2 8th place finishes at the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament in her 3 years at the helm.

In an effort to give back to the sport that has given her so much, Renee returned to North Glen Sports Club in the spring of 2018 to coach the 10u NG Nighthawks with the hope of creating a fail-safe environment that would allow for her players to fall in love with the game of softball, exactly the way she had so long ago. The strengthening of the game of softball at the most basic foundational level has always been her number one priority as a coach and long time student of the game.

Chuck was raised in Ferndale where he attended St. Philip Neri grade school and graduated from Mt. St. Joseph High School (MSJ) where he played on the MSJ A Conference Championship Baseball Team 1975, and was MSJ McCormick Unsung Hero nominee for Football before graduating in 1976. He attended UMBC and Towson State University, worked for and retired from UPS after 35 years of dedicated service and continues to reside in Ferndale with his wife Audra their children and grandchildren.

Chuck began coaching softball over 20 years ago at his Al Ma Mater, St. Philip Neri. In his second year with St. Philip Neri, his 10u softball team won their first 10u championship, from there Chuck moved to the Lady Orioles Fastpitch Travel team where he has an impressive track record in the development of highly competitive teams with notable finishes that include a top 16 finish at the 10U NSA World Series in Chattanooga, a 12u NSA "A" State Championship and an 8th place and 6th place finishes at the Pony Nationals and and NSA World Series, and the development of nearly 50 college softball players spread across varying levels of play from NCAA DI to NAIA and the NCJAA.

In the spring of 2018 Chuck returned to North Glen Sports Club as the coach of the 10u NG Spiders where he coaches his granddaughter. Having played and coached many sports and players both young and old while traveling all over the country with some of the best coaches and players in the game and even after seeing some of this former players play on TV; Chuck touts that the real reward of coaching is earned by seeing the long term benefits of your enforcement of structure and discipline in a game become a value to success in a player's everyday life.
