Grizzlies Youth Football is part of the The Chicago Youth Football League (TCYFL), which is the largest independent youth tackle football league in the United States and supported by the Chicago Bears.
All coaches receive training and are certified through USA Football, which is the national governing body for youth football within the United States. Additionally, coaches may be CPR/AED certified and there is always a licensed trainer at all games.
Teams can be broken into two levels; Pac10 & Big10.
- The Pac10 emphasizes instruction, development and participation. The Flyweight Level is Pac10 only.
- The Big 10 emphasizes competition at a high level.
The Grizzlies believe that all kids should have the opportunity to learn the sport, which is why any and all players interested will be ensured a spot on one of our teams!
Practices and home games take place at Gilberts Elementary School. Away games are within the Chicagoland area, including Playoff and Super Bowl games.
