The Spartan FC's Board of Directors and coaches believe that players who are selected for the privilege of membership on teams should conduct themselves as responsible representatives of the Club. Players should maintain high standards of conduct at every practice, game and Spartan FC event. Players, parents and coaches play a role in establishing and maintaining a positive and sportsman-like image for our Club and community. Club success cannot be achieved unless everyone works together.
The goals of the Club are to offer players direction in discipline, leadership, team work, sportsmanship and acceptance of rules and responsibility.

Athletic Code of Conduct
As a player/member of the Spartan FC Soccer Club, I recognize that I have responsibility to conduct myself in a manner that represents myself, my team and my Club with dignity. I further understand that actions I choose to commit which negatively impact myself, team and Club are grounds for consequences, up to, and including, dismissal from the team. Such actions include:
1. Use of foul and abusive language on the field or at any Spartan FC event.
2. Use or possession of alcohol at any Spartan FC event.
3. Use or possession of tobacco products at any Spartan FC event.
4. Use or possession of controlled substances at any Spartan FC event.
5. Violations of Club policies; examples include, but are not limited to fighting, vandalism and acts of gross disobedience.
Behavior Expectations of the Player
1. Accept and understand the seriousness of your responsibility and the privilege of representing the Club.
2. Treat opponents the way you would like to be treated.
3. Respect the integrity and judgment of game officials. Respect the job and position of the officials and
respect them as people. Treating them with respect, even if you disagree with their judgment, is a fundamental behavioral expectation.

Right of Appeal
The athlete has a right to appeal a decision. This would be an opportunity to present extenuating circumstance that she/he believes should affect the consequences that have been administered. The Board of Directors will appoint a review committee if an appeal is made.
