Summary:

Expected commitment: Minimum 3 years
End of Services Notice: 2-month advance notice
Pay Rate: Volunteer Role
Exp. Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month

Qualifications:

Previous involvement with FC Berna is preferred, ideally as Team Manager, Assistant Coach or in some other capacity
Interest in FC Berna as a club and desire to help advance the club's agenda
Interest in youth soccer
Proven track record in management and acting in a senior capacity in an organization
New board members need to be elected to serve by a majority vote of the incumbent board

Role Description:

Attend monthly board meetings, participate in discussions and vote on resolutions
Each board members oversees one or several parts of the club, and some board members hold the position of an officer.

Board Roles & Areas of Responsibility:

Officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
Areas of oversight responsibility: Programs, Coaching, Financials, Marketing & Sponsorships, Philanthropy and more.
