How long is the season?

Tryouts take place on January 27th, 2024
Practices begin the week of February.
The season starts March 8,  2024  and runs through June 2024

Do you offer refunds? 

Registration refunds will be available until midnight on the Monday following player evaluations. 
Thereafter, no refunds will be issue.

In which division will my child play? 

The division your child will play in is determined by the child's age on April 30, 2024  as prescribed by Little League rules.
We do not allow any player to "play up" or "play down" regardless of skill level.

How often does each team play? 
Beginning in February, coaches will conduct one to two weekday practices and maybe a Saturday practice game. 
Starting in March, teams will play one game per week and always on Saturdays 

What equipment and uniform should I purchase ?

Uniforms: VLL provides a jersey and hat. parents must provide  pants, a belt, socks, cleats  and an athletic cup. Once you have an assigned team your manager or team parent will let you know what color pants and belt you will need.

Equipment: Each child will need to provide their own baseball glove, If you would like to purchase your won bat please see the Little League requirements at https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/bat-information/.  If you have questions about appropriate equipment  please reach out to our player agent.

What's next ?

The FUN begins. Game schedules  will be provided to you by the manager or team parent in mid-February. Follow Vaquero Little League Facebook and Instagram to get updated information. Encourage your child to play catch and informally, introduce your children to baseball concepts, or take players to the batting cages. Support VLL by getting sponsors, VLL runs entirely on volunteer support - we always need more volunteers to help with the fields , the snack bar umpiring and with the kids.
