AJAX BOYS SOCCER
Ajax FC Chicago, its coaches, players, and members have played an integral role in the development of a number of player successes over the past 20 years. Such outstanding alumni include professionals like US National Team player Eric Lichaj (Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest- England) and Eric Gehrig (Columbus Crew, Chicago Fire). The club can also boast of numerous players who have gone on to have successful professional, semi-professional, and collegiate careers. Ajax players have progressed to play at multiple Division I schools such as the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State, SMU, Loyola (Chicago), DePaul, and Northern Illinois University among others. A recent alumni, Jorge Alvarez, was named Horizon League Co-Player of the Year while excelling with The University of Chicago (UIC). These players are joined by a long list of players who have played at all levels of college soccer from Division I to Division III to NAIA and Junior College.
Ajax has been a key provider of the development needed and a platform for players to reach their potential on and off the field in the past and will remain so for years to come.
