In the Wild's ongoing efforts to be the club that can offer our players the best possible hockey experience and to bring our families the most value for their money, we are pleased to present the Wild Academy! This program is free for Chesapeake Wild players and $125 for non-members.

The Academy will be on held Wednesdays 7:30 to 8:30 P.M. at Ice World on the following dates:

December 9 and 16
January 6, 13, 20, and 27
February 3, 10, 17, and 24 

Of the 10 total sessions, 5 of them will be run by coaches from the Washington Pride, 3 will be run by coaches and players from the Towson University Women’s Ice Hockey program, and 2 will be run by the head coach and players from the University of Maryland Women's Ice Hockey program.  

These sessions will give our girls an idea of what it is like to practice at the Tier I and collegiate levels, as well as give them a chance to talk to high-level coaches and players about their ice hockey experiences. This is a great opportunity for our players to practice with outstanding female role models and establish a network of contacts who will be able to coach, teach, and mentor them throughout their hockey career.
