Players in the 5U and the 6U program will have 1 practice per week and will have 1 game on the weekend. Games will be on Saturdays at either Bryan Park or Proehlific Park. There will also be 2 Sunday games at Bryan Park. The fall season begins in early September and goes to early November. The spring season begins in early March and continues through early May.

Practices: Practices may be held at various locations throughout Greater Greensboro. Parents can choose a practice location preference during the online registration process. Practices are led by a volunteer parent coach. Coaching education and practice plans are provided by GUSA staff.

Games: Games are 3 vs. 3 (no goalkeepers). All 5U and 6U game times will be between 9am and 3 pm

How do you order a uniform?
All players born in 2011 and before, will need a new uniform for the Fall 2018 Recreation Season.  Your uniform will be ordered and billed as you register for the season.  The uniform consists of two shirts, shorts, and socks.  The price of the uniform is $45 and distribution will be handled by GUSA.  You will receive your uniform before the first games which take place on September 22nd.

Equipment Needed: (All of this can be purchased at your local Academy or Dicks Sporting Goods)

Size 3 soccer ball
Athletic Shorts
Shin guards and soccer socks (required)
Cleats (optional, can wear tennis shoes, but kids love their cleats!)
Uniform - (if ordered) will be provided at first practice or game by coach - navy blue shirt and white shirt
