Front Office

The Boston Stars Hockey Club is owned by Max Gratchev and Igor Gratchev. Max serves as President and he is assisted by Director of Hockey Operations Rick Lowe. The coaching staff has been selected by Max Gratchev and is based on their ability to teach the skills methodology based on the Ten Steps and MaxPro curriculum as well as their ability to maximize player potential.

The MaxPro Ten Steps Program

MaxPro Hockey Schools “Ten Steps” program is divided into 28 sessions for each Saturday nights from September through March. Each session is limited to 15 players. Ten Steps allows make-ups (if you are unable to make a session, you can make it up at a different session or a future date).

Tournaments

Tournaments are a big part of what we do at the Boston Stars and MaxPro Jets. Each team participates in 2-3 tournaments per season and play against teams from all parts of the US and Canada. The purpose of the the tournaments is to engage in competition outside our league and also get our players the exposure they need to prepare for High School and College Hockey.
