St. Christopher Falcons

CYO Golf

Boys and girls in grades 4th through 8th for the fall academic year, who are students and/or parishioners of St. Christopher, St. Patrick and St. John's are eligible to participate in St Christopher CYO Golf.

Golfers will experience a competitive level of play. One nine-hole match will be played on each Sunday afternoon starting late August and continuing through mid-October (no golf Labor Day weekend), including an end-of-season nine-hole tournament.

Golfers are divided into teams over 3 divisions based on skill level.  D1 golfers rotate to various courses.  D2 and D3 course TBA for 2020 season.

Each team can have up to 6 players consisting of both boys and girls (co-ed). The top four scores each week count toward the team’s score.

This is a competitive league and it is highly recommended that the boys and girls have played and know the basic rules of the game, along with proper etiquette.  However, a wide range of skill levels exists, so players with even a little experience are welcome.

Players must have their own golf equipment.

Registration runs April through Mid-May.  Late registrations will be placed on a waiting list and participation limited to space available basis.

The 2020 registration fee is $35 (this includes golf shirt for all players).
Players are responsible at an additional cost as follows:
Weekly Greens Fees (approx. $5-7)
Range balls for practices (approx. $4)

Coaches normally have 1-2 practices per week at a local driving ranges or putting greens.

During matches, parents are needed to walk and keep score for each group of players.
