NC Fusion GUSA welcomes all players to tryout for our 2018-2019 competitive teams.  All current GUSA players are required to attend tryouts to be considered for a place on a team for next year.  All players are expected to attend all tryout sessions that are scheduled for their age group.

General Information:
For all competitive teams for Boys and Girls - from the Junior Academy to 19U - we have multiple training locations.  As you register for tryouts you will be able to select your Preferred but NOT Guaranteed training location.  This will enable the staff to ensure, to the best of our ability, that we will be able to place every player at the appropriate level of play for their continued development.  The staff will do everything that we can to have teams train at a location that is convenient for the majority of the team.

Players wishing to tryout for NC FUSION USSDA (Boys), ECNL (Boys & Girls) and Elite Girls teams should register & PAY for tryouts on the NC FUSION website - www.NCSoccerFusion.com and attend those tryout dates.  Please see the tryout schedule posted on the www.NCSoccerFusion.com website for dates, times & locations!

All players wishing to be placed on a NCF GUSA team will tryout at the BB&T Soccer Complex at Bryan Park regardless of the preferred training location listed on the tryout registration.

New to NCF GUSA?
Please create an account by clicking the "Register" button in the top, upper right corner of this page.  Once you've created your account and added your player, choose the "Travel Team: 2018-2019 - Tryouts" registration for their age group.

Every player must register and pay the registration fee before attending a tryout session.  
The registration fee is $50.
There will be Coupon Codes posted for each age group for a $20 Early Bird Registration Discount if registered by a certain date. Please see the Tryout Schedule for dates, times & codes.  Enter the code at the top of the "Registration Summary" page right before entering credit card information.  It will say "Coupon Code" and there is a space to enter the code #.  Click the "Apply" button for the discount to be applied".
Please register at least one day before the scheduled tryout date to ensure your player is on the Coaches Evaluation List!

Where do I go for tryouts/evaluations?
All participants go to BB&T Soccer Complex at Bryan Park both nights.

Please check-in at the office upon your arrival to receive your tryout tee and to turn in your required documents.

It is important to remember that your location is a preference.  NCF GUSA reserves the right to offer team placement at any location to any player.

What do I bring to tryouts?
NCYSA Medical Waiver - This form must be PRINTED and brought with you.  You cannot upload this form or complete it online.  Please fill out completely, leaving the team name, level of play and jersey number blank.  Then bring the original with you the night of your first tryout.  A blank waiver will be attached to your Tryout Registration Confirmation Email or can be found on our website under “General Information > Medical Release Form”.

Birth Certificate – If you haven’t completed this in the past, you will need to upload this to your account.  Click the “pencil” icon next to player’s name – under DOB, click the “Upload Birth Certificate” button – upload the doc – click UPDATE at the bottom of the screen to SAVE the upload (otherwise the upload will disappear). If you have trouble uploading the document, you can bring a copy to tryouts with you.

Player Equipment - Bring a properly inflated ball, cleats, shin guards and water.

 Financial Assistance Form filled out (if applicable).  This form must be PRINTED and turned in by posted deadlines (see below) along with all supporting documents.  You cannot upload this form or complete it online. Form can also be found on our website under “General Information > Financial Information”.

Girls (Birth years 00, 01, 02, 03) 
Applications due April 22, 2018
Notification of Award communicated by April 29, 2018

 Girls (Birth years 04 - 11) and all Boys
 Applications due May 7, 2018
Notification of award communicated before acceptance fee is due for each age group.

If any funds remain after the May 7th deadline, additional applications will be reviewed, and notification of award communicated by August 1st. Acceptance fees must be paid prior to notification of financial assistance award.
