Q1. How much are registration fees?
Answer: For the 2016 Season, the fees are as follows:
Cheer (1st and 2nd Grade) => $65
Cheer (3rd and 4th Grade) => $75
Cheer (5th - 8th Grade) => $85
Football – 3rd/4th Grade => $65
Football – 5th-8th Grade => $115
If registering after August 8, there will be a late registration fee of $10/participant.
Q2. Is my child old enough to participate?
Answer: Our program is based on grade and not age. PFJT&C offers tackle football for children that are in 3rd through 8th grade. Cheer is offered for children in 1st through 8th grade. The grade is based on what grade the child will be enrolled in September 2016.
Q3. Is there a fee or deposit for PFJT&C equipment that is handed out?
Answer: There are NO fees or deposits required for equipment that is loaned out by PFJT&C.
New for 2016, we are offering an option to pay an additional $60 to guarantee the use of a new helmet for the 2016 season. This option is available for selection during the registration process until May 31, 2016).
Q4. When does the season start and how long does it last?
Answer: Practices will start mid-August with games beginning early September. Official dates and schedules are being worked on. PFJT&C will update the website and send out information as soon as it has been finalized.
Q5. Where are games played?
Answer: Games will be scheduled on the 2 Post Falls’ fields (Post Falls Middle School and Mullan Trail Elementary), fields in Coeur d’Alene, and Kellogg. As soon as game schedules are finalized, PFJT&C will update the website and send information out.
Q6. When and where is equipment checked out?
Answer: Equipment check out dates will be set soon. Once they are scheduled, PFJT&C will send the information out. Equipment is checked out at the Cherry Lane field at Mullan Trail Elementary. NEW FOR 2016 - equipment checkout dates and times will be set by team.
Q7. Is a sports physical required every year?
Answer: Yes. Each participant is required to provide a sports physical form dated between January 1st and the first day of practice. Participants CANNOT participate in practice or games without a valid PASSING sports physical.
