Dripping Springs Football is a 501c Non profit organization dedicated to Quality, Developmental Youth Sports.
We have joined with our community businesses to make youth football safe and fun for the entire family. We have partnered with our local school districts and nearby municipalities to provide quality practice and game fields for our programs…
Our football program is year round (fall, winter & spring) with fall being the biggest season. We have flag football, tackle football and extreme flag football for Ages 5-17. Even though we are a football only league, we encourage our children to play in others sports activities and not specialize in just one sport at this young age.
Our Mission, To partner with each of our families to help their player succeed in life by building confidence, respect and a sense of team work
Our Motto and Goal Is simple, make it fun for the entire family…..and for every family….. Our program doesn't have special interests and win at all cost attitudes.. Each player will be treated equally regardless of skill set and ability. Kids mature at different rates and your coach will give every child an ongoing opportunity to play at a level they are comfortable with…
We will strive to keep lines of communication open with all parents and players to ensure that your child has the best experience possible. Our coaches are a mix of paid coaches without children participating and volunteer parents.
All head coaches have completed a background check for our community’s safety. Each coach is selected for their experience AND ability to understand how children learn and grow, they are not chosen for their win/loss record..... Of course we all want to win however winning is a by-product of learning and applying football fundamentals, we want every player to be a contributor to his/her team. Every player should feel like he/she participated, and was given an ongoing opportunity to make a contribution to the entire team.
Each player will leave the season feeling good about their contribution and abilities; and every parent should finish the season knowing their children were treated fairly and given a chance to grow and learn all aspects of the game of football.
Football is an honest game. It’s true to life. It’s a game about sharing. Football is a team game. So is life. -Joe Namath
