Volunteers Needed for Tournaments

Plaza is hosting two District 8 All-Star tournaments this year. 8-9-10 Baseball begins June 18 and 9-10-11 Baseball starts June 25. It’s a great opportunity to show off one of the best complexes in District 8, and we need volunteers to help make it happen!

We have instituted a volunteer credit program for All-Star season. You will receive a $2 credit per hour volunteered during tournaments to use towards Fall 2022 registration! Just some of the tasks include mowing, weed eating, prepping/recovering fields, working concession, cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, selling t-shirts, manning hospitality, and more. If you’re interested in helping, please email [email protected] and we will get back with you!

We will also need assistance in the press box - keeping the official scorebook, pitch count, operating the scoreboard, and announcing. There will be a meeting held for those interested in helping in the press box for tournaments on Thursday, June 9 at 6pm in the upstairs meeting room of Field 1. Please RSVP to [email protected] by Wednesday, June 8 at 11pm to ensure there are enough materials prepared.
