Stowe Area Flag Football League

About Us

The Stowe Area Flag Football League was founded in 2004 in order to give area youth a weekend alternative.  The goal of Stowe Area Flag Football is to encourage a team philosophy, nurture fair play and teach the principles of football while having fun and getting some terrific exercise. Boy and girl football players are "drafted" on Team Selection Day and will play on one of up to four teams in their divisions. Stowe Area Flag Football has three divisions of play:

Division 1 - 3rd thru 5th grade
Division 2 - 6th thru 8th grade
Division 3 - 9th thru 12th grade

Games are played on Sunday afternoon at the Stowe Polo Fields (just off West Hill Road in Stowe) September through November. Although Stowe Area Flag Football is recreational, game standings are kept throughout the season. At the end of the season, playoffs begin and the two best playoff teams play in the Super Bowl the last day of the season.
