Divisions of Play

Tee Ball Division:
League age 4-6.The Tee-Ball division is non-competitive, instructional baseball and should be viewed as such by managers, coaches, parents, and fans. The emphasis should be on having fun and skill development for all players. Score and standings are not kept and there are no playoffs. This Division is comprised mainly of children that are league age four and five. There will be some league age six playing down.

Single A Division:
League age 5-7.  The Single A Division is non-competitive, instructional baseball and should be viewed as such by managers, coaches, parents, and fans. The emphasis should be on having fun and skill development for all players. Score and standings are not kept and there are no playoffs. This Division is comprised mainly of children that are league age five and six. There will be some league age seven playing down and only by exteme exception league age four playing up.  Little League has created a 12 week Coach Pitch program.  You can access it here.

Double A Division:
League age 7-9. The Double A Division is instructional baseball and should be viewed as such by managers, coaches, parents, and fans. The playing rules for the Double A division conform to the 2017 “Official Regulation and Playing Rules” for Minor League Baseball with some modifications or additions as documented in the CALL Local Rules. The emphasis should be on skill development for all players.  This Division is comprised mainly of children that are league age seven and eight. There will be some league age six playing up and some league age nine playing down.

Triple A Division:
League age 8-11. The playing rules for the Minor division conform to the 2017 “Official Regulation and Playing Rules” for Minor League Baseball with some modifications or additions as documented in the CALL Local Rules.  All Players will tryout and be drafted per local rules.  Players will be eligible for all-star team selection.

Major Division:
League age 9-12. The playing rules for the Majors division conform to the 2017 “Official Regulation and Playing Rules” for Minor League Baseball with some modifications or additions as documented in the CALL Local Rules.The top team will move on to the District 23 Tournament of Champions.  All players will tryout and be drafted as per local rules.  Players will be eligible for all-star team selection.

 Intermediate (50/70) Division:
League age 11-13. The 50/70 division playing rules will be determined based on the format and schedule proposed by District 23.  Any rules addendum will be documented by the Board of Directors.  In the event of two or more teams, tryouts and draft will occur as per local rules.  The top team will advance to District 23 Tournament of Champions.  All players will be eligible for all-star team selection.

Junior Division:
League age 13-15. The Juniors division playing rules will be determined based on the format and schedule proposed by District 23.  Any rules addendum will be documented by the Board of Directors.  In the event of two or more teams, tryouts and draft will occur as per local rules.  The top team will advance to District 23 Tournament of Champions.  All players will be eligible for all-star team selection.

Senior Division:
League age 15-16. The Seniors division playing rules will be determined based on the format and schedule proposed by District 23.Any rules addendum will be documented by the Board of Directors.  In the event of two or more teams, tryouts and draft will occur as per local rules.  All players will be eligible for all-star team selection.
