About Our Club

Mission

The purpose for which B.A.S.A. is organized is to provide nonprofit, public, recreational and educational soccer competition for boys and girls. The Association will attempt to develop soccer skills of the younger players and to establish a higher level of play to be competitive with other club teams for the older players. The association is an organization that is unbiased with respect to sex, creed, religion, or national origin.

The success and growth of the Association is primarily dependent upon parental involvement, participation, and assistance.

Offered Programs

  In-House Recreational:
The primary objective of the Recreational program is to enable players to learn the game of soccer in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing their skills to help them be the best soccer players they can be, while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive soccer.
Find out more here...
  Travel:
Competitive and Travel soccer is a higher level of play than found in the in-house program.  BASA expects registered Competitive Travel teams to play in PA West Division that best benefits the players and team.

BASA Summer Soccer Camp!

Posted: Apr 10, 2011

Dear B.A.S.A. Families,

This summer, August 11 to August 13, we have arranged to sponsor a Soccer Camp at HMS with Girish Thakar, the Westminster College Head Coach of the men’s and women’s soccer team.  Attached to this message, please find the information for the camp.  In the flier prepared by Coach Thakar, you will find all the necessary information to register.  Of course, the sooner you register the better we can all plan for this event.

While this program is sponsored by B.A.S.A., Coach Thakar and his assistant will run the Soccer Camp.  B.A.S.A. will assist Coach Thakar as needed.  While you are free to contact us, if the questions are specific to the camp itself Coach Thakar requests that you contact him directly.

Camp is intended for Ages K to 8.

The cost for attending this camp is $50.00.  This includes instruction as well as a free tee shirt.  If you wish to purchase a camp ball, these are priced at $10.00.

What follows is a daily itinerary:

6:00     Warm up Games

6:20     Moves of the Day and foot skills

6:45     Individual Skills

7:15     Team Skills

7:45     Tournament Games
