TeamX Sports was launched in the Spring of 2006 for the purpose of establishing a Youth Amateur Sports program in the Lehigh Valley.  Driven by his children's love for the game of football and disillusioned by the misguided, win-at-all cost priorities of many youth sports programs, Mike Brown, the founder of TeamX Sports set out to offer an alternative.  Guided by values that respect the importance of family, TeamX Sports' launched the first Youth NFL Flag Football program in Quakertown Pennsylvania. Within a few short years, TeamX YNFL Flag Football in Quakertown grew to the largest Youth NFL Flag program in Pennsylvania. 

Based on principles of fun-first, equal playing time for everyone, and the rare commitment of accommodating teammate requests, others began to take notice, and by the end of 2012 the first two TeamX franchises offering Youth NFL Flag Football were up and running.

 As of today, TeamX Sports offers basketball, floor hockey and its popular Youth NFL Flag Football to over 1800 families a year in four different locations: Quakertown, Macungie, Bethlehem and Orefield. 

2015 is shaping up to be another year of program expansion as we develop two very important initiatives that support the family: Our Play20 Initiative which seeks to train and equip coaches to coach sports through 20 character traits; and our Family Assistance Program which provides free or discounted registration fees for families experiencing financial hardship.
