Description

Internship primarily focuses on Grass Roots Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Communication, Game Day Operations and Promotions for Junior  Hockey Program in Downriver Detroit Area.  Looking for interns that would like to enhance their resume, as well as develop Multi-Media Skills, Public Relations Skills and Marketing Skills in a fun and energetic environment

Responsibilities

The internship will be primarily focused on, community marketing of sponsorship, and ticket sales, group event marketing as well as non-profit community relations may also include assistance production of multi-media game previews and wrap ups to bell as player profiles and feature stories for print and muliti- media.  Interns will also participate in live broadcast as well as live game day events such as play by play, public address, and public promotions, and video productions.

Requirements

Candidate will be looking for a career in Sports Journalism , Media Relations or Sports Marketing. Travel to road games is not required. Knowledge of the game of hockey is preferred but not required.
