Our Mission

FC Carolina Alliance provides youth soccer training and development to players of all ages, genders and abilities. We foster commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with a goal of achieving FUN and rewarding experiences, that encourage the development of well rounded young adults. 

FC Carolina Alliance (FCCA) was founded in 1997 formerly known as Cabarrus Soccer Association. As a US Youth Soccer Association and a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we promote and advance youth soccer opportunities in the greater metro Charlotte area.In 2004, the club merged with Tri-County Football Club to form FC Carolina Alliance.FCCA is one of the fastest growing soccer associations in North Carolina offering programs at the Munchkin, Pre-Academy, Academy, Challenge and Classic levels. We have over 70 competitive teams playing out of Rowan, Cabarrus and Mecklenburg Counties competing regionally and nationally through membership to the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association. FCCA is governed by volunteer Executive Board of Directors as well as the full time staff- Directors of Coaching. The Directors of Coaching oversee the development of the players, vision of the club, and continued outreach into the communities. Working alongside the Directors of Coaching are the great staff of professional coaches, and full time administrative staff who handle the day to day operations of the club.We strive to instill into our members that, through hard work, determination, commitment, and teamwork we all can achieve great success. 

Player and Coaching Development

The development of our coaches and players is the key to our success. We focus incredibly hard on the development of our coaching staff. The definition of development is the process of developing or being developed. The PROCESS is what we focus on. What is the end game of this process? The end game to to have our men and women play and compete at the highest level possible in the sport. FCCA prides itself on the quality of coaching our players receive, especially focusing on the four main domains of development in soccer- technical, tactically, physical, and psychological growth. 

 
College Affiliations

FCCA has formed alliances with local colleges and universities such as UNC Charlotte and Catawba College to ensure appropriate development and exposure our players to the next soccer level. We hold annual clinics with the varsity men's and women's soccer players exposing great role models to our young and aspiring soccer players. At the Academy age we have a unique mentor program where the college players work with a team each throughout the spring season. We want our players to aspire to play collegiate level soccer and working with these tremendous role models helps us achieve these goals. Ultimately, the end result to our success can be seen at our U18 level where 80% of our players continue their career at prestigious DI, DII, and DIII colleges and universities.
