Academy Mission Statement
The Mission of Dynamo Juniors Academy is; provide every child that desires, the opportunity to play soccer regardless of skill level, that will teach fair play, self confidence, leadership, good citizenship and skills in a team environment, develop individual and team skills of players, through high quality training and coaching.
There will be three main areas upon which coaching paradigm will be based:
-
Technique (touch). Creative repetitive exercises that cultivate technical proficiency.
-
Kinesthetic Awareness. The breaking down of the complex mechanical movements of the human body in a multi-directional plane to ensure injury prevention and maximize physical potential.
-
Information Overload. Exercises that develop quick and accurate decision making in highly pressurized situations.
Once our athletes graduate from Academy, they will be prepared for the next level – our Competitive Program.
Academy Philosophy
Our Objective is to establish an ever evolving program (Dynamo Juniors Academy) that is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in athletes (soccer) and in using soccer as a metaphor for excellence in all other aspects of an individuals life. This will require great leadership, especially from our coaches, in that learning by example is paramount. We believe that young people can best develop their full potential only by exploring and expanding their personal limits. Character development is our most important goal.
The Dynamo Academy Program Overview
Dynamo Juniors Dynamite Program is for u4 to u6 players, the Dynamo Juniors Pre-Academy Program is for u7 to u8 players and the Academy Program is for u9 to u12 players that want more than just traditional recreational experience, and who may be considering participation in Competitive soccer. The program is ideal for those players with a strong desire to increase their technical skills, increase their knowledge of the game, and who may be considering a “serious commitment” to the game of soccer.
The Academy environment is mostly about TRAINING. The technical focus of our professional coaching staff is designed to improve all players' technique, first and foremost. Possessing greater degrees of technique, the players will enjoy the sport that much more!
The training staff features licensed coaches who have many years of experience playing, training, coaching, and working with children of all ages and experience levels.

Training & Scrimmages
-
The most important benefit to participating in the Dynamo Academy Programs is the professional training and guidance they will receive from the Dynamo Juniors Soccer Club Staff.
-
The focus will be on the development of technical skills with the introduction to fundamental tactics, to prepare players for a higher level of soccer.
-
All the Academy Age Groups will train AT LEAST once a week. It is important that all players attend training sessions on a regular basis. This program is designed for players looking to dedicate a significant amount of time to training and development of their soccer skills. Additional Goalkeeper Training Opportunities are available at no additional charge.
-
Throughout the season, the older Academy groups will play in Scrimmages, and as coaches we will try and guarantee equal playing time. The philosophy of our Academy staff is to play the players in a variety of positions throughout the season.
-
Winning is an important aspect of all competitive sports, however results are secondary to player development in the academy. We want our players to become decision makers and problem solvers on the field. A key aspect to this development is providing an environment that allows players to succeed and fail given a variety of challenges.
-
Professional Training for player development is our primary focus in the Academy. Games scheduled will allow appropriate levels of challenging competition.
-
All players will have a positive and successful experience through this program, with the direction and guidance of our Dynamo Staff.
