The Official Wharton Wolves Soccer Club

Coaching Resource Page

Since you've come to this page, you're looking for information that will make you a better coach, which will ultimately improve your practices and your team (If you have not volunteered yet to coach, please submit a volunteer form).

You should familiarize yourself with the Wharton Soccer Club's Rules & Responsibilities for our coaches.

You should familiarize yourself with the differences between Rockaway Valley Soccer League rules (noted in the By-Laws) and FIFA rules. RVSL requires that teams avoid running up the score. They would like to keep goal differentials at 7 or less. Click here for a RVSL handout which contains suggested ways to keep games close.
