How do you order a uniform?All players born in 2011 and older, that did NOT purchase a uniform for the Fall 2018 season, will need a new uniform for the Spring 2019 Recreation Season. Your uniform will be ordered and billed as you register for the Spring 2019 season. If you paid for and received a uniform during the Fall 2018 season, you do NOT need to purchase another one. If a replacement uniform is needed, you will need to pay the $45 fee again. Just answer YES when prompted.
The uniform consists of two shirts, shorts, and socks. The price of the uniform is $45 and distribution will be handled by GUSA. Instructions on when, where and how to receive your uniform will be sent prior to the start of the first games for the Spring 2019 season.
All players born in 2012 and after will order uniforms if they need to. Your uniform will consist of two shirts and the price is $20. You may add the uniform order to your cart from the 'Programs Available'. Distribution will be handled by GUSA. Instructions on when, where and how to receive your uniform will be sent prior to the start of the first games for the Spring 2019 season.
What equipment do I need?
Check your age group on the side menu to the right of this page. You will find detailed information about your age group as well as the equipment necessary for that age group.
What age groups are offered and are they co-ed?
Greensboro United will attempt to offer age pure and gender specific divisions at each age group. Please note that some age groups may be combined to form a viable division. The decision as to whether or not to combine age groups will be made by the Recreation Director on a seasonal basis.
What locations are available?
Greensboro United teams will be able to practice at Proehlific Park, Summerfield Athletic Park, Bryan Park, Jaycee Park and other facilities around the community. Games will be played at Bryan Park, Proehlific Park, and Jaycee Park. Jaycee Park will be used for practices and games during the Spring Season only.
Please note that the Practice Location you request for your child is not guaranteed.
The GUSA Rec staff will do their best to place your child on a team in the location you choose during the registration process.

- Jaycee Park (SPRING ONLY!)
***High School Teams and some older age groups do not choose their location.***
How are teams formed?
Players can choose a team or coach during registration and GUSA will try to accommodate that request. All placements are made on a "first come basis" so register early! New teams will be formed on a geographical (zip code / school) basis and at the discretion of the Recreation Director.
Are special requests honored?
Special requests will be considered but CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
