NC Fusion have fielded teams in the Elite Clubs National League on the girl’s side for a number of years now successfully. This season though, marks the first year for our boy’s teams. It was with much excitement and anticipation players and coaches heading to Florida at the end of December for the Winter Showcase. The ECNL Boys Showcase in Orlando was a great success. The U15 Boys won all three games versus teams from Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. The U16 Boys were competitive in every game in the 2nd bracket of the event against teams from Florida, Missouri, and New York! The U17 and U19 boys played extremely well and the highlight of the trip was that both teams were seen by over 30 college coaches watching their games for recruiting purposes. Great work by coaches Tony Falvino, Wade Forte and Mike DeMara. We sure have a lot of potential on our teams to be successful individually and collectively in the future.
