East Orange Little League Umpires - The Unsung Heroes

The goal of every umpire should be to get the rules right regardless of ego and do what’s best for the kids and the integrity of the game. Great umpiring takes commitment and East Orange Little League appreciates all our volunteer umpires and the effort they give!

Not An Umpire, But Want To Become One?

Whether you want to commit to games every weekend or just once in a while, EOCLL needs your help. You can begin the process of becoming an umpire by submitting an application online. Once submitted prospective umpires will also be required to complete three (3) Little League mandated trainings, prior to being cleared for umpiring. Please see the required trainings and their associated links below:

1) Diamond Leader
2) Abuse Awareness Training
3) Concussion in Sports

All three training courses MUST BE COMPLETED and associated certificate of completion printed and provided to the EOLL Safety Officer, Heather Darr, via email at [email protected] BEFORE umpiring any games.

Never Umpired Before?

No problem! Our Umpire-in-Chief, Scott Justice, is happy to hold a training session to help umpires familiarize themselves with everything you need to get started with volunteering. Anyone interested in participating in an umpire training session can reach out to Scott directly at (910) 382-5579 to schedule a session.
