T-Ball, Ages 3 & 4
Focuses totally on instruction of beginning players. Batting tee will be used.

Shetland, Ages 6 & under
Focuses totally on instruction of beginning players.  Mechanical pitching machine will be used.

Pinto, Ages 8 & under
Teaches the basic fundamentals of baseball.  Pitching machine will be used.

Mustang, Ages 10 & under
Begins the players’ training in the complete game of baseball.  Some restrictions on base stealing and runs allowed. Tournament play is completed through World Series level.

Bronco, Ages 12 & under
Takes the developing young players into the full game of baseball, with no restrictions on base stealing or runs allowed. Tournament play complete through World Series level.

Pony, Ages 14 & under
Continues developing young players into the full game of baseball, with no restrictions on base stealing or runs allowed.  Tournament play complete through World Series level.

Colt, Ages 15 - 19
Full baseball rules, except where superseded by PONY baseball rules or WJPB bylaws. Please note, this division will play against teams in the surrounding Pony Baseball leagues. While some games will be played at West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park, many will be played at the other league parks as well.

In an effort to maintain competiveness for all teams, a draft will be held for all players in the Shetland through Pony divisions. All players will be assigned a team.

Players in the T-Ball or Colt division will not need to tryout. These divisions may sign up as a team or as an individual and we will assign the player to a team.

All games, except some of the Colt division games, are played at the West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park. Times will vary, be sure to check the schedule.

Your child may play up a division.
