Dear Town of Poughkeepsie Little League Supporter,
This spring, our neighborhood fields and parks will be filled with hundreds of boys and girls playing baseball in the Town of Poughkeepsie Little League. Through baseball, our children learn about character, courage, and loyalty, and it is our distinct honor and pleasure to be leading the charge in
continuing this time-honored tradition.
With the introduction of a new Board of Directors, 2020 will be a transitional year for the Town of Poughkeepsie Little League. Returning to the Board are President Nick Johnson, Jr. and Vice President Scott Reimuth, who bring with them years of hands-on experience, a deep passion for the game, and proven success leading our League in the past. As a team, we have made a commitment to rejuvenate our baseball community and provide our children with a truly memorable experience.
But our efforts alone are not enough to achieve this goal. It is only through the generous support of community sponsors like you that our success is even possible. Your financial contribution will help provide our teams with baseballs, catcher's gear, helmets, bats, and practice equipment. It also pays for the materials necessary to maintain our baseball fields and to keep them safe: fence repairs, bases, rakes, basepath chalk, infield dirt, and more.

Your business or organization will be featured on a large 3' x 6' banner to be displayed at your choice of field. As a bonus, you will get naming rights to one team (subject to availability). Additionally, your business or organization will get booth space at our Opening Day Ceremony and Year End Awards Picnic. Your logo and a link to your website will also be posted on our website.

SO WHAT DOES OUR SPONSORSHIP MONEY ACTUALLY PAY FOR?
Here are some examples of the costs we incur over the course of a season:
Full uniform (hat, jersey, pants, belt, socks): $40 per player | Batting Tee (1 per team): $20 Baseball bat (2 per team): $30-45 each | One dozen baseballs (3 per team): $60 each Helmet (4 per team): $25 each | Catcher's Gear (1 set per team): $200-300 each Equipment bag (1 per team): $40 each | Score books (1 per team): $7 each Bag of infield dirt (1 per field/week): $25 each | Bag of chalk (1 per field/week): $15 each Infield rake (2 per field): $45 each | Infield drag mat (1 per field): $120
