Looking for Great Board Members

Hello Everyone,

The Keizer Little League Board is looking for individuals who are interested in joining the 2022/2023 Board.
As you know Keizer Little League is all Volunteer and it takes many hands to operate a league of our size. As a board member you will help shape the league, be a part of the conversation that determines the directions we take and help create a safe, fun, learning environment for the kids of Keizer and surrounding areas.
All positions are always available for anyone to try their hand at. Below you will see all the positions we have, a brief description and a list of those who are currently seeking the position if any.
Remember, just because someone is seeking a seat in that position, does not mean you cannot also go for it. We encourage it!

President-David Cleland
Runs meetings, makes sure that the other positions are keeping up with tasks, deals directly with District 7, ordering uniforms, supplies and more.

Vice President-Shannon Cleland
Supports the President in his/her tasks, takes on tasks set by board, schedules fields etc.

Secretary-Corrina Zavala
Keep meeting minutes, distribute correspondence.

Treasurer- Shannon Cleland
Updates bank records, keeps track of spending, reports to board financial reports, handles cash/checks etc.

Safety Officer- Kevin Catron
Ensures equipment is safe and usable each season, puts together coaches equipment bags, checks in and out equipment, makes sure fields are safe for play etc.

Sponsor Coordinator-Position Open
Seeks sponsors for the league. Maintains records of sponsors. Ensures banners are up and incentives have been given.

Umpire Coordinator- Position Open
Recruit and schedule umpires for games that take place at the Keizer Little League complex.

Complex Manager- Position Open
Helps lead projects for maintenance, improvements of fields and complex. Addresses needs of complex to board.

Director of Baseball-Joseph Demienew
Communicates with coaches of all the baseball divisions. Offers support and assistance for coaches etc.

Player Agent- Position Open
Makes sure that all players are within our boundary, have completed all necessary forms, maintains books for All Stars, runs draft etc.

Director of Softball-Shannon Cleland
Communicated with coaches of all the softball divisions. Offers support and assistance for coaches etc.

Director of Tball- Position Open
Communicated with coaches of all the softball divisions. Offers support and assistance for coaches etc.
