Field Update

After working for months with the Hamilton County Dept of Rec and Signal Mountain Administration, we have been given a field that we can maintain an have priority scheduling.  We will continue to work with the other field managers to share field space and maintenance.  The goal is to spread our players out during lacrosse season so no one field gets all the wear. In the off season, we would share with in season teams like football and soccer.

The field is found on the left as you are coming into the school. The field has some limitations. It does not drain and is not regulation width. We are currently working with contractors to find the best solution to these issues.

Our phase one goals are to make a safe, regulation size field. Initial estimates are coming in at a little over $15,000 to repair drainage, clear the perimeter of field to widen and get the playing surface covered in Bermuda. Estimates for fencing have been almost $20,000. We will be putting together a capital campaign to try and raise the money. Our goal would be to make this happen without having to raise fees.
