Todd Greene is in his ninth season with the Arizona Diamondbacks and his second season as a Special Assignment Scout. Greene's focus is in scouting Major League players and to serve as an advisor on player trades, acquisitions and roster moves.
Now in his 26th year of professional baseball, Greene began his career after being drafted as an outfielder in the 12th round by the California Angels in 1993 before being converted to catcher. In 1993 Greene won the MVP of the Northwest league as a member of the Boise Hawks. 1994 ended in similar fashion as Greene won the MVP of the California league and leading all minor leaguers with RBI(124!) Not to be out done, the 1995 season ended with Greene leading all of the minor leagues with 40 Home runs and being named Baseball Weekly Minor League Player of the Year! During his Major League career, Greene spent time with eight different organizations and played 12 seasons in the Majors with the Angels (1995-99), Blue Jays (2000), Yankees (2001), Rangers (2002-03), Rockies (2004-05) and Giants (2006). Greene made 255 career starts behind the plate, including a career-high 49 with the Rangers in 2003. He saw his most extensive action with the Angels in 1999 when he made 84 starts and set career-highs in doubles (20), home runs (14) and RBI (42).
He caught the ceremonial first pitch from President George W. Bush prior to Game 3 of the 2001 World Series. After finishing his playing career with the San Diego Padres' organization in 2007, Greene transitioned to the club's scouting department where he became a professional scout.
In January 2009, Greene joined the Tampa Bay Rays' organization as a Quality Assurance Coach where he served as a uniformed coordinator throughout Spring Training and all pre-game practices. Greene's primary responsibilities included assisting with catching instruction and serving as a liaison between the scouting department and the club, including advance series preparations. In November 2009, Greene was added to the Seattle Mariners' scouting department as a professional scout for the 2010 season.
During his collegiate career at Georgia Southern, Greene was a four-time All-American where he set school records for hits (311), home runs (88), RBI (257), total bases (640) and slugging percentage (.709). His home run total ranks third all-time in the NCAA and he became the first player in school history to have his uniform number (20) retired. Greene is a graduate of Evans (Ga.) High School where his baseball teams won back to back state championships in 1988 and 1989. He graduated with his team having a 52 game winning streak. His number (10) is also retired.

 Todd's most recent endeavor was working with USA Baseball to be a special advisor and coach of the 18U USA Team in Dodger stadium before they flew to Asia for the World Cup which begins in late August 2019.

Wes is coming to us from Georgia Bombers, East Cobb Baseball and Team Georgia Baseball Academy. He graduated from Pope High School in 1998 and earned a scholarship to play centerfield for Georgia Tech in 1999-2002. While at GT Wes earned All ACC Tournament Team honors in 2002, played for 2000 ACC Championship team and was lucky enough to play in the College World Series in 2002 where he batted .385 including hitting 1st HR of that CWS.

After playing, Wes coached at Georgia Tech as Volunteer Assistant in 2007.  Wes was the Sales Manager/Director of Operations at ECB, Inc from 2007-2014.

While at East Cobb Baseball, Wes coached 10 National Championship teams in those years between the 17U East Cobb Braves, 16U East Cobb Astros and 13U East Cobb Astros. In those years Wes also coached 28 1st Round MLB Draft Picks and over 150 Division 1 College Scholarship players.

While Vice President and 16u Marucci Coach at Georgia Bombers oversaw a program that produced 350+ College Scholarships, 19 players drafted and over 125 PG Championships. He comes to us with 18 years of experience in high level travel ball.


Matt Dickson

Coach Dickson entered his first season with TG as the Roadrunners coach in 2013, bringing 9 years of coaching experience at the college level.  Matt was at McPherson College in the spring of 2013, after spending 7 seasons prior at Colby Community College, including the final six as the team’s hitting coach and recruiting coordinator. He has postseason appearances on his resume in each of his 9 years including three Regional Finals.  Coach Dickson helped direct a McPherson offense that broke every team record and every individual record other than individual batting average in Bulldog history. Also, Dickson coached the Mac infielders that saw their fielding percentage raise 9 points while starting freshmen at SS and 3B. During his time at Colby Community College from 2004-2011, Dickson helped the Trojans accumulate a 189-147 overall record – including an impressing three trips to the Region VI Finals – Four time KJCCC Playoff hosts, tutor 29 players that earned All-Jayhawk honors and set 30 offensive school records. Additionally, Colby saw its team average 33 wins per season. Before he took over hitting and recruiting the Trojans averaged just 18 wins per year; an improvement of 15 games. In his final year as the hitting coach for Colby, Dickson steered an offense that rewrote the record books as he helped the Trojans win a school-record 41 games. Along the way, CCC set new highs in all major offensive categories. Colby finished in the top 25 nationally in BA, Steals, HBP and OBP in all five of Dickson’s last years in Colby including a team batting average that was never below .318.  He also recruited seven Trojan players that were drafted. Dickson, a third baseman/pitcher played briefly at Dekalb College. He finished his college career at the University of Alberta where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Education. Following college Dickson has lived mostly in Kansas. An Atlanta native he moved to Edmonton, Alberta for high school and University.

Johnny comes to us from the Georgia Bombers, NY Mets and University of Florida. Johnny was a Perfect Game All American in 2010 while playing for East Cobb Baseball. 
Drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 35th round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft from Dexter School (Brookline, MA) and the New York Mets in the 17th round of the 2013 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). Johnny played 7+ years with the Mets before starting his Coaching career. Under his direction the 17u Marucci Team won 4 Perfect Game events, finished runner up in 2022 17u WWBA, runner up in 2021 18u WWBA and won 2021 17u Marucci World Series in just 2 years as Head Coach. He was assistant to Wes Rynders on 16u Marucci before that winning 91 games in 3 years including 6 PG events and PBR National Program Invitational. The best pitching instructor in the Southeast if not the Country!! Team ERA overall in 5 years was 1.52!! We are excited to welcome Mags!!
