U5 & U6 Soccer Academy Information

Recreational players in age group U5 and U6 will participate in

our Soccer Academy. With many of you new to soccer, let us explain more....

This academy is designed to combine sessions of what we call foot skills

with regular games. Foot skills are exercises which help develop basic

techniques for children. Of course we make sure that these foot skills are

lively, entertaining and appropriate for their age level. In our regular games

too, the rules are modified to allow a fast paced game with many goal scoring

opportunities.  Most children like the thrill of scoring goals and this, soccer experts

have found, helps foster development of soccer skills too.

But these trainers cannot do it alone.... there has to be a coach (parent) to

volunteer to help with each team so be sure to sign up to help.

Foot skills take place on Monday nights with U5 starting at 6:00 -7:00p and U6 at 7:15 - 8:15p and games are scheduled on Thursday nights.

Our hope and “big goal” for this academy is to give young children and you

as parents/coaches the opportunity to learn about the wonderful game of soccer!
