Northwest is growing even larger, we are now accepting all age groups for all levels of play. This means we have more teams to fill and more soccer to be played.

In the 2016-2017 season, there were many changes to the rules and regulations of club soccer. The most noticeable was the age change requirement. To comply with US Soccer’s new rule, Northwest FC started grouping players into Birth Year and not School Year. This was a mandatory change that all clubs playing select/travel soccer were required to make.  Here at NWFC we take every measure to insure your experience is a positive and memorable one year after year. We understand that this was not an ideal change for every player or family; along with the entire soccer nation we experienced growing pains. Northwest FC recommends that all players play in their natural birth year, however there will be situations where players will be able to tryout for the year above, and/or guest play for the year above their birth year. During tryouts, players will be grouped with other players in their same birth year for evaluations. The NWFC staff will monitor those players showing the skill and strength to be considered for that age jump, and make recommendations upon those evaluations in terms of whether or not moving to the next age group is appropriate
